Cherry Blossom

The Cherry Blossom is an authentic split sternwheeler designed and created for gracious private entertaining. Her two interior salons are heated and air-conditioned for year-round comfort. The open-air third deck offers a spectacular view of Old Town Alexandria and the Washington, D.C. skyline.

The Cherry Blossom is a re-creation of a 19th century Victorian riverboat, complete with ornate iron railings and a plush interior of brass and mahogany. She is the most elegant yacht on the Potomac River.

Private Event/Charter Availability

The Cherry Blossom is available for charter year-round, seven days a week. You can set your own sailing times, whether day or evening, subject to other events which may be ongoing aboard the vessel.

Capacity

In warm weather months, the Cherry Blossom can accommodate up to 350 guests. In the cooler and inclement weather months, we recommend that you limit your guest list to 250. Our average private event is 125 passengers. She is your perfect choice for all types of entertaining: a stand-up cocktail, buffet reception or a sit-down lunch/ dinner.

Docking

The Cherry Blossom is docked behind the Torpedo Factory Art Center on North Union Street, located at the foot of Cameron Street in Old Town Alexandria. She also has special docking privileges at Mount Vernon Estate and Gardens.
