To Alexandria Waterfront
Our dock in Alexandria is located behind the Torpedo Factory Art Center, which runs north along Union Street, between King and Cameron Streets.
By Car
From Washington, DC:
Cross over either the Memorial Bridge or the 14th Street Bridge and pick up the G.W. Parkway southbound.
Take George Washington parkway south past National Airport.
Once into Alexandria, Parkway becomes Washington Street at Slaters Lane.
From Slaters Lane proceed on Washington Street 9 traffic lights and turn left on Queen Street.
For Central Parking: Go 4 1/2 blocks to Central parking lot on left.
For Colonial Parking: Go 6 blocks to Union Street. Turn right.
Go 1 1/2 blocks to Colonial parking on right.
From Beltway (495/95):
Take Route 1 north (becomes Patrick Street) 3/4’s of a mile to Queen Street.
Turn right on Queen Street.
For Central Parking: Go 4 1/2 blocks to Central parking lot on left.
For Colonial Parking: Go 6 blocks to Union Street. Turn right.
Go 1 1/2 blocks to Colonial parking on right.

Metro/Shuttle Services
- The King Street Metro, which is serviced by the Blue and Yellow lines, is the closest connection, although it is 16 blocks from the waterfront.
- Use the free DashAbout on Friday nights, all day Saturday and Sunday, which brings you from the King Street metro to within two blocks of the waterfront at Market Square at King and Fairfax Streets.

Boats are docked at the Alexandria City Marina, Cameron & Union Streets, Alexandria, VA 22314.
Delivery and pick-up procedures: Buses MUST load and unload passengers at the intersections of King and Strand streets and NOT on Union Street.
Bus Parking:
Buses may park in front of Robinson’s North Terminal at the intersection of Union and Oronoco Streets.
Directions to Alexandria Waterfront from Washington, DC:
Take the George Washington Parkway South, past National. Once into Old Town Alexandria, turn left onto Queen Street. Go through six residential block to Union Street. Turn Right. Follow map to drop off point.
Directions to Alexandria Waterfront from Beltway (495/95):
Take Route 1 North to Franklin Street and turn right. Follow to the end and turn left onto Union Street. Follow to Prince Street an d turn right. Turn left onto Strand Street to drop-off point.

By Car
From Virginia:
From Arlington, McLean or Tysons Corner area, the easiest bridge crossing is at Key Bridge in Rosslyn. Take Key Bridge into Washington, bearing right on M Street. Take M Street to Wisconsin Avenue, approximately four traffic lights, and turn right. Follow Wisconsin Avenue to base of hill, which is K Street. There is an open air parking lot at this intersection. Go left on K Street one block to 31st Street. The dock is on your right, where 31st and the river meet.
From Alexandria or heading 395 or Route 1, take the George Washington Parkway north towards Arlington and Route 50. Follow signs to Route 50 and Rosslyn and then follow signs for Key Bridge. Follow above directions once on M Street.
From Maryland:
From Bethesda, take Wisconsin Avenue until it dead ends on K Street. Park in the parking lot at that intersection. Dock is one block south at 31st and the river at Washington Harbor.
From the 495 Beltway:
Take Clara Barton Parkway towards Washington immediately prior to crossing Potomac River. Follow Parkway as it becomes Canal Road at Chain Bridge and first traffic light. Continue on Canal Road to M Street. Follow M Street to Wisconsin Avenue, turning right at M and Wisconsin. At bottom of hill at K Street, park in outdoor parking lot. Dock is one block to the south at 31st at river.

- The “Blue Bus” links Georgetown to the Blue, Orange and Red metro lines via the Foggy Bottom/GWU Metro station.
