Directions To Alexandria Waterfront
The Alexandria dock is located behind the Torpedo Factory Art Center at 105 North Union Street , Alexandria , VA.
Guests traveling by public transportation should us the King Street Metro station (yellow and blue line), a 16-block walk to the waterfront. The King Street Trolley offers free rides from the metro to the waterfront. The Dash Bus service also provides a free service on Friday nights and all day Saturday/Sunday that transports guests from the metro to within two block of the waterfront. By Car
From Washington, DC:
- Cross over either the Memorial Bridge or the 14th Street Bridge and pick up the G.W. Parkway southbound.
- Take George Washington parkway south past National Airport.
- Once into Alexandria, Parkway becomes Washington Street at Slaters Lane.
- From Slaters Lane proceed on Washington Street 9 traffic lights and turn left on Queen Street.
- For Central Parking: Go 4 1/2 blocks to Central parking lot on left.
- For Colonial Parking: Go 6 blocks to Union Street. Turn right.
- Go 1 1/2 blocks to Colonial parking on right.
From Beltway (495/95):
- Take Route 1 north (becomes Patrick Street) 3/4’s of a mile to Queen Street.
- Turn right on Queen Street.
- For Central Parking: Go 4 1/2 blocks to Central parking lot on left.
- For Colonial Parking: Go 6 blocks to Union Street. Turn right.
- Go 1 1/2 blocks to Colonial parking on right.
